"People resist change because they focus on what they stand to lose, instead of what they stand to gain."
Change is one of the only real constants.⠀
And the challenge with change is that we are confronted by what we stand to lose. The comforts, attachments, and parts of ourselves and our lives that we think we will have to give up.⠀
This is especially true with the loss or end of a business or relationship. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When a business falls apart or a relationship comes crumbling down or is nearing its end, it's easy to latch onto all the parts that provide you with a sense of comfort or wholeness. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Our mind goes into survival mode and because our ego has attached itself to some part of the business or relationship, our identity becomes threatened and we go into fight or flight mode.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The challenge with change is to notice when our mind is fixated on everything we stand to lose.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Notice and let go of attachment.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Work through the ego death or the loss of part of our identity and be open to the possibility of what awaits us on the other side.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In this space, we have the chance to create what we want the future to look like. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
What do you want on the other side of this change?
A better relationship?
A more connected partner?
A thriving career or business?
What would it look like?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let change be the chance to expand.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Let change be the opportunity you've been seeking rather than the devastation you've been trying to avoid.

Connor developed an innovative approach to healing the Shadow (the part of our psyche that causes us to self-sabotage) by drawing from experiential and training-based methodologies like Jungian psychology, somatic therapy, along with transformative breath work and meditative practices.
I will be recording the IG LIVE and uploading the audio here for you to listen to in the future.
